COBOURG, ST. MICHAEL’S, NEWMARKET PLAYERS NAMED THREE STARS OF WEEK

Jack Foley of the Cobourg Cougars is the First Star of the Week in the Ontario Junior Hockey League for the week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 5, the OJHL announced today.

The 17-year-old from Cobourg scored four goals and added two assists during four games. He was selected by North Bay in the 2024 OHL Draft.

Caiden Clair of the St. Michael’s Buzzers is the Second Star. The 16-year-old had seven points (two goals/five assists) in three games with the Toronto team. Clair is a Saginaw Spirit OHL draft pick.

Goaltender Max Grovestine of the Newmarket Hurricanes was named Third Star after winning both of his starts with a 0.937 save percentage. Now 17, Grovestine is a Sarnia Sting OHL Draft pick.
