Easton Andrews of the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Collingwood Blues has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA Division III St. Olaf College Oles in Northfield, Minnesota beginning with the 2026-27 season.

The 20-year-old defenceman signed in Collingwood in 2024 from the Victory Honda 18U program in his native Michigan.

“St. Olaf stood out to me right away when it came to making my decision because of its strong academics and history of success within the hockey program,” Andrews told the OJHL. “The coaching staff was also a major factor in my choice. Their commitment to developing players both on and off the ice is something I’m excited to be a part of.

“Collingwood has been an all-around amazing experience, and I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in today without the support I’ve received here. I’m looking forward to continuing both my athletic and academic career at St. Olaf, but first I’m focused on finishing the season in Collingwood the right way.”

Andrews has 50 points during his two seasons in Collingwood. He was selected to play in the OJHL’s U SPORTS 20-year-old showcase in Os

“We’re extremely proud of Easton on his commitment to St. Olaf,” said Collingwood Head Coach Andrew Campoli. “He’s been a huge part of our success over the past two seasons and a true leader within our defensive core. Easton’s professionalism and maturity set him apart, and they’ve made him a great leader both on and off the ice. St. Olaf is getting a player who leads the right way and makes everyone around him better.”

“The Blues are extremely happy for Easton and his commitment to St. Olaf University for the fall of 2026,” Collingwood General Manager Mike Tarantino told the OJHL. “ Easton has made an extremely positive impact over his two years with the Blues and was recently named as an alternate captain for this season.

“We know Easton will continue to be an asset to St. Olaf and contribute both on and off the ice.  The Blues would like to congratulate Easton and the Andrews family for his NCAA commitment.”

Congratulations to Easton and best of luck in the NCAA!
