MILTON MENACE THE NEW NO. 1 IN OJHL POWER RANKINGS

Top-ranked Menace and  No. 2 Trenton clash in Trenton Friday night

The Milton Menace are the top-ranked team in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, according to the OJHL Power Rankings released today.

The unbeaten Menace (8-0-2-0) are tied for first place in the OJHL West Conference with the fifth-ranked Toronto Patriots (9-3-0-0).

The Trenton Golden Hawks (9-2-0-0), the top team in the East, dropped from first to second in the rankings, changing places with Milton.

Trenton and Milton meet Friday night in Trenton.

The East’s second-place Stouffville Spirit (8-2-0-0) moved up two places in the rankings to No. 3.

The Leamington Flyers (8-1-0-0) are ranked No. 4. The Flyers’ lone loss came to Stouffville at the OJHL Governors’ Showcase last month.

The OJHL Power Rankings – a poll of general managers across the 24-team league – are released every second week during the season.
