OJHL ALUMNI WILDE, HOSKIN, FUKAKUSA NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

Atlantic Hockey America’s 2024-25 All-AHA teams and AHA All-Rookie Team include three former Ontario Junior Hockey League star players who earned four selections, THE conference announced today.

Former Toronto Jr. Canadien standout Matthew Wilde was named to the All-AHA First Team.

Wilde (18g, 14a, 32pts) scored 17 goals in 23 league games for RIT, and his 18 total goals ranked third in Atlantic Hockey despite playing just 26 games during the regular season.

Trevor Hoskin, the Canadian Junior Hockey League and OJHL MVP A year ago was named to the All-AHA Second Team and All-Rookie Team.

The Niagara forward and Calgary Flames draft pick led the league in scoring among rookies with 29 points on nine goals and 20 assists during league play. 

RIT’s Tyler Fukakusa, another former Toronto Jr. Canadien OJHL all-star, was selected to the All-AHA Third Team.

Fukakusa (9g, 27a, 36pts) led Atlantic Hockey with 27 assists on the season, and led the league with 23 assists in 26 AHA games. His 31 points in conference play was tied for third in the conference.
