All 24 OJHL clubs come together for three days of competition, exposure and opportunity at the Gale Centre.
MISSISSAUGA, ON – Sep 29, 2026 – The Ontario Junior Hockey League is set to bring all 24 member clubs together in Niagara Falls for the 2026 OJHL Governors’ Showcase, taking place October 5-7 at the Gale Centre.
The three-day event will feature 24 games, with every OJHL club playing twice. All Showcase games count toward the regular-season standings, bringing the entire league together in one location for one of the premier events on the OJHL calendar.
The Governors’ Showcase brings the OJHL Standard We Earn the Next Level to life by providing players from across the league with the opportunity to compete in front of scouts and representatives from the NHL, NCAA, CHL, OHL, U SPORTS and professional hockey.
The Showcase arrives following a strong opening month across the OJHL, setting up several key matchups between some of the league’s top teams.
Opening day will be highlighted by the host Niagara Falls Canucks taking on Newmarket at 7 p.m. With the hometown team in the spotlight, the Gale Centre should be loud.
One of the marquee games will take place on Wednesday, October 7 at 2 p.m., when the Leamington Flyers face the Markham Royals. Markham enters Showcase week at the top of the East Conference following a 9-0 start, while Leamington has opened the season unbeaten in the West.
On Tuesday, October 6 at 5 p.m., the Wellington Dukes face the Leamington Flyers in another matchup featuring two clubs that have established themselves among the league’s early contenders.
The final day will also feature the Toronto Patriots against the Cobourg Cougars at 11 a.m., followed later in the day by the Collingwood Blues against the Stouffville Spirit at 5 p.m.
The event provides players with an opportunity to compete against teams from across the league while putting their game on display in a concentrated scouting environment. More than 70 percent of graduating OJHL players advance to the next level each year.
Fans are invited to attend all three days of the Governors’ Showcase. Day passes are $20, with children 12 and under admitted free. Day passes will be available at the main rink box office and provide access to games in both rinks for that day. Paid security will be checking admission at the doors.
Twenty-four teams. Twenty-four games. Three days. One stage.
We Earn the Next Level.
