PLAYER JOURNEY MAP
- What is it?
The Player Journey Map is a comprehensive road map created by the OJHL Strategic Leadership Team, will evolve through a league Task Team, and then through the Player Leadership Team. Built with strong player input at every stage to ensure it reflects real player experience at every touch point during the players interactions with OJHL Teams from recruitment and evaluation to training, practice and game as well as team transitions and support services.
- Purpose?
Provides the road map to all strategic discussions within the OJHL. Guides decisions on league minimum standards, operations, and the player experience.
OJHL LEADERSHIP TEAM
- What is it?
The Leadership Team is composed of 24 OJHL players — one player (Captain or Part of the Leadership Group) from each team. Four meetings will be help per year in August, October, December, February.
- Purpose?
With a regular cadence of meetings throughout the year to ensure consistent player input into league standards and operations. Players drive the Standard from within the OJHL.
- Next Steps?
The Player Journey Map is to be reviewed and completed by the League Task Team and the Player Leadership Group and will be exclusively used to make decisions on areas of improvement for the player.

Standard Operating Procedures & Minimum Standards
The development of the leagues Standard Operation Procedures & Minimum Standards will guide league priorities in recruitment, development, and player support.
These documents will also be used as a reference for evaluating league-wide practices against the player experience.
