December 6, 2023, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Dylan Edwards of the Toronto Patriots (Photo by Ray MacAloney / OJHL Images) has been named the Warrior West Conference Player-of-the-Month for November after he tallied 17 points (six goals/11 assists) during nine games. His best outing was a three-goal, three-assist night at home against the Niagara Falls Canucks on Nov. 4.

The 18-year-old from Toronto has nine goals and 21 assists putting him on pace for 73 points this season. Edwards, who played for the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League last year, is a graduate of the GTHL.

Dylan will be presented with an OJHL watch from Baron Championship Rings at a Patriots home game.


Spencer Young of the nationally-ranked Collingwood Blues was runner-up to Edwards as the West Conference Player-of-the-Month. The native of Elmira scored seven times and added eight assists in nine games. Committed to NCAA Division I Niagara University, Young is in his third season in the OJHL, all with Collingwood, the defending OJHL champions.
