STOUFFVILLE’S BURROWS CAPTURES BACK-TO-BACK OJHL EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR HONOURS

Mississauga, ON, March 31, 2026 — The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is proud to announce that Ken Burrows of the Stouffville Spirit has been named the 2025-26 OJHL Executive of the Year.

Burrows, who serves as General Manager and Governor of the Spirit, has been with the Stouffville Spirit since 1997 and was selected by OJHL governors in recognition of his continued outstanding contributions to his organization and to the league as a whole. His leadership both on and off the ice has helped bring the Spirit to their impressive current run in the playoffs and his dedication to the growth of junior hockey in the York Region community remains second to none.

Now a three-time winner of the award, Burrows has demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence in all aspects of hockey operations, from player development and recruitment to community engagement and organizational management.

The OJHL Executive of the Year Award is presented annually to the individual who has shown exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to their club and to the advancement of junior hockey in Ontario.

Burrows will be honoured along with the other OJHL award recipients at a ceremony during the OJHL Championship Series in April.

The OJHL is announcing its 2025-26 award winners throughout the first three rounds of the playoffs.
