OJHL PLAYERS RANKED FOR THIS WEEK’S NHL DRAFT

Four Ontario Junior Hockey League players are ranked for this week’s 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft in Nashville.

Aron Jessli of the Pickering Panthers is top ranked by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau, in Round 6 (162nd). Jessli is committed to NCAA Division I Niagara.

Giacomo Martino of the St. Michael’s Buzzers is ranked in the seventh round (201st). His commitment is to DI Northeastern.

Cameron Eke of the Collingwood Blues is ranked 178th. He is a DI commit to Colgate.

Nathaniel Davis of the Burlington Cougars is ranked 177th.

The 2023 NHL Draft will be hosted by the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena. ​​The first round will be June 28 (7 p.m. ET; ESPN, SN, TVAS) and Rounds 2-7 are June 29 (11 a.m. ET; NHLN, SN, TVAS). 

Jessli was named as the OJHL’s InStat Top Prospect award recipient. 

The final rankings featured the top 224 skaters and 32 goaltenders in North America as well as the top 144 skaters and 12 goaltenders internationally.
In its 48th year of operation, NHL Central Scouting provides evaluation and scouting of draft-eligible players to NHL member clubs. Headed by Vice President of Central Scouting Dan Marr, NHL Central Scouting employs eight full-time scouts throughout North America.
