The Collingwood Blues organization, at the brand new Wasaga Beach Arena would like to invite you to experience the 2024 Terry Geddes Cottage Cup Showcase. This will be the third time the event will be hosted and the first time it will be hosted in Wasaga Beach.
The Wasaga Beach Arena is a new build with Olympic size twin pads, meeting rooms, a walking track, a small gymnasium, and a 20,000-square-foot public library, complete with a children's area, gaming zone, study rooms, a learning lab and a digital lab. This is the perfect venue to kick off this Premiere Junior A pre season event.
The main goal of the 2024 Terry Geddes Cottage Cup Showcase is to provide eight teams and players an opportunity to come together in one location and display their skills, talent and character and ultimately have a chance to play at a higher level. This also gets the 2024-25 season underway and is a great kickstart for the Collingwood Blues to defend their Buckland and Centennial Cup Championships.
The format for the event will consist of a round robin games on Tuesday August 27 and Wednesday August 28th and finish with nine games on semi finals and finals on August 29th.
