Cameron Przewozny of the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Buffalo Jr. Sabres has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA Division III SUNY Fredonia Blue Devils beginning with the 2026-27 season. Fredonia is located midway between Buffalo and Erie, PA.
Przewozny signed with the OJHL Jr. Sabres ahead of this season from the Jr. Sabres U18 team. He also played high school hockey in Western New York for West Seneca East and Bishop Timon-St. Jude.
“Cam is a great story of a late bloomer who has put in the work,” Jr. Sabres Head Coach and General Manager Sean Wallace told the OJHL. “He came to our program at 18U and we quickly identified him as a player we wanted as part of our group the following season.
“Fredonia is getting a player that plays an honest 200-foot game and a genuine person who brings positive energy every day to the rink. As an organization we are proud to help him on his journey and are excited to see him progress to college hockey.”
Przewozny, 19, is looking forward to college while remaining thankful for his time with the Jr. Sabres.
“Being able to play for Coach Meredith and his staff at Fredonia is a privilege that me and my family are extremely grateful for,” he told the OJHL. “Fredonia is a great school with so much to offer both academically and athletically. I am looking forward to being a part of that community.
“This league has so much talent and it’s a great league to develop your skills and learn how to play the game the right way.”
“Growing up in Buffalo it was always a dream of mine to play for the Jr. Sabres. I am thankful that I was able to do that at both the 18u and Junior A level. Coach Wallace and Coach Brozyna are great coaches who are dedicated to the program. They care so much about all of the players and make sure that Buffalo is a place everyone wants to play.
“Playing in the OJHL has brought so many small tweaks as well as major improvements to my game. All the people I’ve met along the way were huge parts in my development both on and off the ice. This league has so much talent and it’s a great league to develop your skills and learn how to play the game the right way.”
Congratulations to Cam and best of luck in the NCAA!
