OJHL COMBINE WEEK

This is where opportunity meets evaluation—and where players earn the next step.

OJHL Combine Week is built to identify talent, test performance, and give high-level players born 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 a real chance to be seen by OJHL coaches and scouts in a competitive, professional environment.

Running at the April each year, the Combine Week is split into two key events designed to evaluate players at every position and every stage of development.

The OJHL Combine Week consist of two main events:

OJHL Goalie Skill and Development Camp (For goaltenders only)

2027 OJHL Combine (For skaters only, goaltenders DO NOT sign up for this)
To be determined

This is not just exposure—it’s assessment.

We are looking for players who compete, respond, and elevate their game under pressure. Combine Week is where the OJHL identifies who is ready for the next level of junior hockey.

For us, Combine Week is simple: you show up, you compete, and you earn your place.

*This event is not open to Canadian players registered with a team outside of the Ontario Hockey Federation or junior aged players that are currently carded with a team within the Hockey Canada structure.

*American born players must provide proof of insurance before they will be allowed to participate in the combine! American player participation is subject to Canadian, Ontario and Regional Health Unit Policies.

OJHL Goalie Skill and Development Camp (for goalies please register for the OJHL Goalie Skill Development Camp)  April 2027 location to be determined.

This is where goaltenders separate themselves.

The Goaltender Skills & Development Camp gives netminders a true Junior A experience—on-ice development, structured testing, and classroom seminars focused on the demands of the position at the next level.

Goalies are evaluated by OJHL staff throughout the camp, with top performers earning an invitation to the OJHL Combine in Oakville.

Each goaltender receives:

• On-ice development sessions
• Daily evaluation and testing
• Seminar programming
• Camp jersey and player gift
• Video clips from daily drills
• Post-event evaluation report

Top performers will be selected to advance to the 2027 OJHL Combine.

The event is scheduled to take place in April with location and dates to be determined.

This is the main stage for skaters.

Over four days, players compete in a high-intensity environment in front of OJHL coaches and general managers. Every shift is tracked, evaluated, and reviewed.

Players will take part in:

• Five competitive games
• Two educational seminars
• Formal OJHL scouting evaluations
• Individual player reports distributed to all OJHL member clubs

Each participant receives official event gear and leaves with a clear understanding of where they stand and what comes next.
