March 27, 2026, Mississauga, ON – Dana Flatt of the Georgetown Raiders is the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Athletic Therapist of the Year, the league announced today.
Flatt, who serves as the Athletic Therapist for the Raiders, earned the recognition for her outstanding commitment to player health, safety, and performance throughout the 2025-26 OJHL season. Her dedication to the young athletes in her care — from injury prevention through to rehabilitation and return-to-play — made her a standout candidate for this award.
A graduate of both Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science, and Sheridan College, where she completed her Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy, Flatt brings a strong academic foundation to her work on and off the ice.
Prior to joining the Georgetown Raiders, Flatt built her junior hockey resume with the Oakville Blades, and also gained valuable multi-sport experience working with the Oakville Crusaders Rugby Club and the Sr. B Oakville Titans. She is also an Athletic Therapist with Dynamic Health & Performance in Oakville.
Dana has continuously shown her value and skills through her five season tenure with the Raiders, as well as represented the OJHL at events such as the 2023 All-Star event, 2023 Eastern Canada Cup, 2024 Battle of Ontario, and 2024 OUA v. 20-year-old games.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League congratulates Dana Flatt on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for her tireless work on behalf of the Georgetown Raiders and the league as a whole.
The OJHL Athletic Therapist of the Year Award is voted on annually by league personnel and recognizes the therapist who best exemplifies professionalism, expertise, and dedication to athlete care across the league’s 24 member teams.
Dana will be honoured along with the other OJHL award recipients at a ceremony during the OJHL Championship Series in April.
The OJHL is announcing its 2025-26 award winners throughout the first three rounds of the playoffs.
