NIAGARA FALLS’ PARKER FORLIN VOTED OJHL WEST PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

December 5, 2024, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Parker Forlin of the Niagara Falls Canucks has been named its West Conference Player-of-the-Month for November after he tallied 21 points during 11 games.  

In his second season with the Canucks, the 18-year-old Niagara Falls, ON native has amassed 23 goals and 25 assists during 28 regular season games. His 48 points have him in third place in the OJHL scoring race. His biggest game in November was a two-goal, three assist outing during an 8-4 Canucks’ win in nearby Buffalo.

The 2023-24 OJHL Scholastic Player of the Year had 54 points (24 goals/30 assists) in 56 games during his rookie campaign.

Colton Smith of the Leamington Flyers was runner-up to Forlin as the West Conference Player-of-the-Month. The Windsor native had 21 points (11 goals/10 assists) in 13 games. Smith, who leads all scorers in the OJHL with 55 points (32 goals/23 assists) in 32 games, recently committed to NCAA Division I Clarkson.
