NIKAC THE 11TH ST. MIKE’S PLAYER TO MAKE A COLLEGE COMMITMENT

Joe Nikac of the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s St. Michael’s Buzzers (photo credit Tim Bates | OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA Division III SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles In Brockport, NY beginning with the 2024-25 season.

Nikac is the 11th player off last season’s St. Mike’s roster to make a college commitment.

Nikac spent three-plus years with the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL before joining the Buzzers part way through the 2023-24 season.

He had 40 (11 goals/29 assists) points in 54 games last season.

“Congratulations to Joe on his commitment to Brockport,” Buzzers General Manager and Head Coach Rich Ricci said. ”I know he took his time this summer and had some options before his choice.

Joe brings Brockport size and skill along with a strong work ethic. We wish him a great career and much success.
