Trenton, Stouffville, Collingwood remain in national listings
TORONTO – The Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Toronto Patriots will close out February at No. 3 – moving up one spot – in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
Highly competitive all season long, the Patriots sit first overall in the OJHL standings at 45-8-0-1.
The OJHL’s Trenton Golden Hawks fell one place, to No. 6, in the standings. The 42-9-0-2 defending OJHL champs defeated the No. 9 Stouffville Spirit (38-12-1-0) 5-3 at home Sunday. The Golden Hawks play in Cobourg in the only game on the OJHL schedule on Monday night.
The other OJHL team in the CJHL rankings, the 2024 Centennial Cup champion Collingwood Blues (38-10-2-3), moved up one spot to No. 15.
The Milton Menace (37-13-3-1) received honourable mention.
The OJHL season ends March 1.
The first round of the playoffs will be played from March 6-19.
