The Toronto Patriots delivered a series clinching performance on Wednesday night, shutting out the Mississauga Chargers 5–0 at Port Credit Memorial Arena.
After a scoreless opening period, Toronto erupted in the second frame. **Bruno** opened the scoring just 19 seconds in, before **Cooksey** doubled the lead on the power play midway through the period with helpers from Vacca and Bruno.
**Cummins** added another late in the period to give the Patriots a commanding 3–0 advantage heading into the third.
Toronto kept the pressure on in the final period as **Karmiris** extended the lead with his seventh of the postseason, assisted by Bruno and Howard.
**Palermo** capped off the night with a power-play marker at 16:07 to seal the 5–0 victory.
Despite the loss, Mississauga generated plenty of chances, outshooting Toronto early and finishing with **42 shots**, but Patriots netminder **Caracciolo** was perfect, stopping every puck he faced to earn the **42-save shutout**.
Toronto fired **40 shots** of their own, while going **2-for-6 on the power play**, compared to Mississauga’s **0-for-3**.
