February 6, 2026, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Maksim Corovic of the Collingwood Blues has been voted its Goaltender of the Month for January.
The Brantford Bulldogs OHL prospect was 4-0-0-0 during January, posting a 1.58 goals-against average that was paired with a 0.947 save percentage.
The 17-year-old Stoney Creek native was ranked 24th among North American Goaltenders in mid-season rankings for this year’s NHL Draft.
Corovic has been a dominant force in the league this season. He currently sits atop the OJHL leaderboard with a stingy 1.60 goals-against average and a league-best .947 save percentage, whileporting a 11-2-2-0 overall record.
Earlier this season, Corovic represented the OJHL and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) as a member of Team Canada East at the Junior A World Challenge in Trois-Rivières, Que., and participated in the inaugural Zach Hyman OJHL Prospects Series.
Carter Vicente of the Burlington Cougars was runner-up to Corovicc as the Goaltender-of-the-Month. The Mississauga product went 5-1-0-0 during January, posting a 1.66 GAA and a 0.950 save percentage. He made 26 saves and shutout Oakville 7-0 on Jan. 3.
Vicente and Corovic could square off tonight when the Cougars visit the Blues.
